Systemair has released its 2025/26 Sustainability Statement, its first prepared under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), saying energy-efficient ventilation remains central to reducing building energy use while supporting indoor air quality. The ventilation group said absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions fell 10% from its 2023/24 base year, injuries causing sickness absence dropped 50% over three years, solar investments produced 3.2 million kWh of renewable electricity, EU Taxonomy-aligned turnover rose to 28% from 27%, and 67% of manufacturing facilities are now ISO 14001-certified. Product highlights included a new generation of axial fans that can reduce energy consumption by up to 21% in a typical operating scenario, wider rollout of demand-controlled ventilation that can save up to 30% when paired with SAVE units, and an industry award for the integrated heat pump in Menerga's CO2mpass air handling unit using refrigerant R-744. The update adds sustainability detail to the Annual and Sustainability Report for 2025/26, in which Systemair reported SEK 12.5 billion in sales, about 7,400 employees across 51 countries and continued operating profitability.
