The German life-sciences and chemicals group raised guidance for a second straight quarter, pointing to strong operating performance and less pressure from foreign-exchange moves.
Merck KGaA raised its full-year guidance for the second quarter in a row, saying robust performance and easing foreign-exchange headwinds improved its outlook. The German life-sciences and chemicals group said it now expects 2024 net sales of 21 billion to 21.8 billion euros, equivalent to $24.26 billion to $25.19 billion, with organic growth of 1% to 3%.
