Preliminary Hungarian data showed the strongest annual industrial growth since September 2022, while adjusted monthly output fell 1.4%; a newer record attached Czech June figures, indicating a likely source mismatch.
Hungary's industrial production rose 10.1% year-on-year in June 2026, rebounding from May's 0.4% decline and marking the fastest annual growth since September 2022, with gains in motor vehicles, computer, electronic and optical products, and electrical equipment, while seasonally and working-day adjusted output fell 1.4% on the month and first-half production was up 2.4% from a year earlier. A newer topic entry, however, reported separate Czech Republic June 2026 industrial data of 4.0% annual growth and 1.2% monthly growth, suggesting the newer record may describe a different event rather than a revision of the Hungarian release.
