A 25.1% surge in electricity and utilities output led the expansion, while manufacturing strengthened, mining returned to growth and seasonally adjusted monthly production rose 1.2%.
Czech Republic industrial production rose 4.0% year-on-year in June 2026, up from a revised 2.0% increase in May and marking the strongest annual growth since December 2025. The expansion was driven by electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, which climbed 25.1% after a 2.1% rise a month earlier. Manufacturing output also improved to 2.6% from 2.2%, helped by stronger production of computer, electronic and optical products, repair and installation of machinery and equipment, paper and paper products, and food products. Mining and quarrying moved back into growth, rising 1.1% after an 8.3% contraction in May. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production increased 1.2% in June, reversing the previous month's 0.4% decline.
