Customized memory demand and silicon capacitor shipments drove record margins, while the company seeks approval for a GDR sale of up to 15 million new shares to fund expansion.
AP Memory reported record second-quarter 2026 results, with consolidated revenue rising 78% year over year to NT$2.36 billion, or about $73.4 million, and net profit attributable to owners of the parent reaching NT$681 million, or about $21.1 million. Earnings per share were NT$4.18, compared with a loss per share of NT$3.37 a year earlier when foreign exchange losses weighed on results. Strong demand for IoTRAM customized memory and higher S-SiCap silicon capacitor shipments lifted gross profit 107% to NT$1.16 billion, or about $36.0 million, operating profit 169% to NT$726 million, or about $22.5 million, and net profit after tax 221% to NT$667 million, or about $20.7 million, while gross and operating margins reached 49% and 31%. The company said silicon capacitor products including IPC, LSC and IPD are ramping, VHM projects for AI/HPC (high-performance computing) are moving toward mass production, and a planned GDR (depositary receipt sold overseas) issuance of up to 15 million new shares will help fund expansion as it expects revenue to multiply several times over the next few years.
