BTCC said gold and the US Tech 100 led July demand as it expanded zero-fee trading and added KOSPI and KRWUSD products, while a newer record instead cited separate July stock futures figures for Bitget.
BTCC said its TradFi trading volume rose from $500 million in June to over $1.5 billion in July 2026, a 3-fold month-over-month increase, driven by demand for commodities and index products on the crypto exchange. Gold (XAU) and the US Tech 100 stock index (TECH100) were the most actively traded instruments, with gold accounting for more than half of total TradFi volume. BTCC said a zero-fee campaign across all TradFi pairs since June, along with zero fees on select crypto pairs since mid-June, helped lift average daily trading volume by more than 38% versus the period before launch, and it added KOSPI and KRWUSD products with up to 50x leverage. A newer topic, however, reported different July figures for Bitget's stock futures business, including $85.445 billion in monthly volume, suggesting the two records may describe separate events rather than an update to the same BTCC announcement.
