The deal brings founder Tyler McIntyre into OpenFX as Head of Banking as the company builds API-first accounts with stablecoin and fiat rails in more than 100 countries.
OpenFX has acquired Global Ledger and is using the deal to push further into multi-currency accounts for fintechs. The acquisition brings Global Ledger founder Tyler McIntyre, previously at Novo, into OpenFX as Head of Banking. OpenFX said the new offering will be API-first and designed to support stablecoin and fiat payment rails across more than 100 countries, with a waitlist now live. The move expands on Global Ledger's role in blockchain analytics, anti-money laundering compliance, transaction monitoring, and investigative support, adding infrastructure that can help fintech clients manage cross-border payments and digital-asset-related risk.
