The proposed measures would ban passage for ships linked to the United States, Israel and other hostile countries, restrict the transport of military and civilian cargo related to Israel, limit vessel traffic connected to operations against the "Axis of Resistance," and deny navigation access to entities that should pay compensation to Iran. Violations could be punished with fines of as much as 20% of cargo value. The proposal remains under review and has not been approved, Fars News reported.
