The wider rollout lets AI agents trade, provide liquidity and take other on-chain actions across Hyperliquid and EVM-compatible networks within user-defined risk, spending and protocol limits.
MetaMask has widened the launch of Agent Wallet, a self-custodial wallet that lets AI agents execute on-chain transactions across Hyperliquid and EVM-compatible networks within user-set spending caps, protocol restrictions and risk preferences after a June early-access rollout to about 200 users. The product works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenClaw, Hermes and OpenCode for activities including token swaps, perpetual futures trading, prediction market positions and liquidity provisioning, while Guard Mode and Beast Mode govern approvals, users retain control of their private keys, gas abstraction lets eligible transfers and swaps pay fees in the asset being moved, and eligible EVM transactions can receive up to $10,000 a month in Transaction Protection after simulation, threat scanning and Smart Transactions screening against maximal extractable value risks. MetaMask is entering a market where Coinbase and MoonPay are also building tools for autonomous crypto finance, and it has not paired the launch with a native token.
