The Charlotte alternative investment firm said Hart will build advisor and institutional distribution after making its offerings available on major custodial platforms in April 2026.
QC Capital Group named Joe Hart as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets, tasking him with expanding the firm's reach into wealth management and institutional distribution. Based in Charlotte and reporting to Founder and Chief Executive Officer Chris Salerno, Hart will work with registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, family offices, and the investor relations and due diligence teams that assess alternative investment strategies on their behalf. The move formalizes a channel strategy the firm began building earlier in 2026, after saying in April that its offerings had become accessible through major custodial platforms used by investment professionals. Fund assets are custodied at Charles Schwab, allowing advisors to hold QC Capital positions alongside other client assets, consolidate reporting, and handle fee billing through existing systems. QC Capital said Hart brings experience across asset management, broker-dealer leadership, and real estate investment, with prior roles at Fidelity Investments, Banc of America, Prudential, ING (now Voya), and Realty Capital, as well as experience managing a broker-dealer. The firm said his mandate is to turn platform access into a functioning distribution capability as advisors in 2026 put greater emphasis on sponsor operations, reporting, custody, and diligence when allocating to private real assets. QC Capital said its vertically integrated model includes owning operating businesses inside its real estate, including the AquaShine Express car wash platform. The firm expects to announce additional capital markets and investor relations infrastructure through the rest of 2026.
