The additional purchase lifted Nordea's Strategy holding by about 12% from March 31, 2026 and adds to the bank's broader push to offer regulated Bitcoin exposure.
Nordea increased its Strategy stake by 3,231 shares worth roughly $317,000, lifting its total holding to 29,767 shares valued at about $2.92 million and roughly 12% above the 26,536 shares disclosed as of March 31, 2026. Strategy, the company formerly known as MicroStrategy, has become the market's best-known corporate Bitcoin treasury under Michael Saylor, giving institutions that cannot hold crypto directly a listed route to Bitcoin exposure. The move also fits Nordea Bank Abp's wider crypto strategy, which includes a planned synthetic Bitcoin-linked exchange-traded product from December 2025 for experienced investors. Strategy's leverage means the stock can move more sharply than Bitcoin in both rallies and selloffs.
