SANY wins 26-port-equipment deal and delivers 40 electric loaders abroad

SANY Group said it reached two international milestones spanning South America and Southeast Asia, combining a major port-equipment order with a large delivery of electric machinery. SANY Marine signed a supply agreement with Hanseatic Global Terminals for 26 units for a container terminal in South America, consisting of six quay cranes and 20 RTG (rubber-tired gantry) cranes. Separately, SANY Heavy Industry delivered 40 SW970E electric wheel loaders to the world’s largest rice mill in Thailand. The company said the port equipment is intended to support higher cargo volumes and changing customer requirements with a focus on efficiency, safety and sustainability. HGT CEO Dheeraj Bhatia said the deal was an important milestone in building a world-class port and that SANY’s equipment would support safe and efficient operations while improving customer service and contributing to regional economic growth. SANY Marine President Zhou Guoyuan said the agreement marked another step in the group’s global expansion strategy and that it would continue using its port and logistics equipment expertise to help customers improve operating efficiency. In Thailand, SANY positioned the SW970E for rice-mill operations that face heavy dust, continuous use and intense working conditions. The company said the model offers longer endurance, zero emissions, low noise and enhanced protection. The customer later placed an additional order for 50 SW956E electric wheel loaders. SANY said the SW956E and SW970E will together handle material movement across the rice-production chain, from primary processing to final packaging, helping speed the adoption of electric equipment in Thailand’s rice industry. The company said it plans to keep expanding in global markets with efficient and environmentally responsible products aimed at supporting more sustainable industrial operations.
