Quarterly 13F filings show Edelman Financial Engines and Tudor Investment expanding measured exposure to BlackRock's IBIT and other spot Bitcoin ETF products as institutional adoption broadens.
Edelman Financial Engines disclosed roughly $34 million in spot Bitcoin ETF holdings through BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust and Grayscale products, adding to signs that traditional advisory firms are using regulated fund structures for Bitcoin exposure. Separate 13F filings showed Tudor Investment Corporation held 688,529 shares of BlackRock's IBIT valued at about $22.9 million at the end of June, up about 19% from 579,083 shares in the prior quarter. The Edelman position remains small relative to the firm's overall asset base, which has been described as exceeding $260 billion in the new report and about $326 billion in the existing record, underscoring that allocations are still measured even as spot Bitcoin ETFs gain wider acceptance.
