BlackRock's digital assets now account for $79.6 billion in AUM, highlighting a significant growth trajectory in the firm's crypto offerings despite a challenging macroeconomic environment.
BlackRock reported $14.1 billion in digital asset net inflows for Q2 2025, raising its total AUM in this sector to $79.6 billion. Digital assets contributed significantly to the overall ETF performance, accounting for $14 billion of the $85 billion in total ETF inflows. Despite digital assets representing just 1% of BlackRock's total AUM of $12.5 trillion, the firm is experiencing persistent institutional interest. CEO Larry Fink noted the growing role of digital assets in attracting new investors, while the firm faced a temporary setback with a $52 billion withdrawal from index funds by a major client.
