Former rugby player Shane Donovan Moore has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in a U.S. federal prison for defrauding more than 40 investors out of $900,000 in a crypto mining Ponzi scheme. Operating Quantum Donovan LLC from January 2021 to October 2022, Moore promised investors daily returns of 1% while misusing their funds for personal expenses, including luxury apartments and designer goods.
