Sequans Communications expands its Bitcoin treasury, joining a wave of corporate adoption as institutional interest in cryptocurrency continues to rise.
Sequans Communications has purchased 1,264 Bitcoins for approximately $150 million, bringing its total holdings to 2,317 BTC. This acquisition reflects a significant trend of institutional interest in Bitcoin, as companies worldwide have increased their holdings by 120% since July 2024. The corporate adoption surge coincides with record institutional inflows into digital asset investment products, which recently recorded all-time high weekly inflows of $4.39 billion.
