On July 24, Algeria enacted Law No. 25-10, criminalizing all cryptocurrency activities such as trading, mining, and possession. Violators face imprisonment of 2 months to 1 year and fines from 200,000 to 1 million dinars. This legislation aims to enhance financial security against crime and terrorism, aligning with international anti-money laundering standards.
