The report highlights a trend among traditional financial institutions aligning their long-term strategies with blockchain use cases. Notably, 33 major investment rounds were led by banks from the US and Japan, focusing on trading infrastructure and digital asset custody services. Additionally, there is a growing preference among global systemically important banks for partnerships over full acquisitions in the blockchain sector.
