PANews reported on August 5th that Barry Silbert has returned to Grayscale, replacing Mark Shifke as chairman to advance the company's SEC-filed IPO plans. The firm has hired four senior executives: COO Diana Zhang (formerly of Bridgewater), CMO Ramona Boston (formerly of Apollo), CCO Andrea Williams (formerly of Goldman Sachs), and CHRO Maxwell Rosenthal (formerly of Citadel). Grayscale, which manages over $35 billion in assets, is also exploring the addition of independent directors.
