ETH surged as much as 6.20% on Saturday, breaching $4,300, driven by strong ETF activity with $461 million flowing to ETH and US spot Ether ETFs recording net inflows of $326 million over five days. Traders warned that a rise to $4,500 could endanger $1.35 billion in short positions, while Buterin cautioned against over-reliance on large treasuries and borrowing.
