On August 9, Ethereum co-founder Jeffrey Wilcke deposited 9,840.36 ETH, valued at approximately $41.33 million, into Kraken. This deposit follows a May event where 105,737 ETH was distributed to eight new addresses, with one address transferring ETH to a trading platform possibly for selling. Additionally, prior reports noted a multi-signature wallet transfer of 9,000 ETH, and the ETH token market value has risen from $262 million in May to $442 million in three months.
