PANews reports that, in March 2024, a Shenzhen employee used the Trojan 'Electronic Master Key' to steal over 3 million RMB in USDT, later reimbursing the victim company and receiving a four-year prison sentence with a 20,000 RMB fine.
According to PANews on August 10th and the Shenzhen Futian District People's Procuratorate, in March 2024 a Shenzhen company employee colluded with others to use the Trojan 'Electronic Master Key' to hack company account passwords and steal over 3 million RMB worth of USDT. After the theft, police arrested the employee, who reimbursed the victim company and obtained forgiveness. The court sentenced him to four years in prison and imposed a fine of 20,000 RMB.
