According to chairman Tom Lee, BitMine’s cryptocurrency holdings surpass $6.6 billion, driven by a significant one-week increase in Ethereum accumulation under its strategic allocation plan.
In an official announcement, BitMine Immersion Technologies disclosed total cryptocurrency holdings exceeding $6.612 billion as of August 17, making it the world’s largest institutional Ethereum holder and second-largest overall cryptocurrency holder. The assets include 1,523,373 ETH valued at $4,326 each and 192 BTC. The company’s Ethereum balance rose by 373,000 in a week, adding $1.7 billion in value, bolstering its '5% Ethereum strategy.' Chairman and Fundstrat analyst Tom Lee stated the accumulation reflects strong institutional support. Strategy Inc remains the largest cryptocurrency holder with 628,900 BTC valued at $74 billion.
