Recent data indicates public companies added $280 million in Bitcoin last week, with Strategy and Metaplanet leading significant acquisitions.
Global public companies, excluding miners, recorded net Bitcoin inflows of $280 million last week. Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) bought 430 BTC for $51.4 million, raising its total to 629,376 BTC. Japan’s Metaplanet added 1,293 BTC worth $154 million, now holding 18,888 BTC. Five others, including The Smarter Web, Daydaycook, ANAP, Remixpoint, and H100 Group, also expanded their holdings. Public companies collectively hold 714,010 BTC valued at about $82.24 billion, representing 3.59% of Bitcoin’s circulating market cap.
