According to the company’s official statement, Jesse Myers will lead Smarter Web’s Bitcoin strategy as it adopts a dual cash-and-Bitcoin treasury policy, aiming to emulate global leaders in corporate digital asset reserves.
The Smarter Web Company officially announced that Jesse Myers has joined full-time to head its Bitcoin strategy, transitioning from his prior role as a part-time consultant. Myers, known for creating Bitcoin valuation models that influenced Michael Saylor’s corporate Bitcoin framework, invested about £970,000 in the company’s recent fundraising round. The firm disclosed that it will implement a cash-and-Bitcoin treasury policy to strengthen its balance sheet, though it acknowledges risks of volatility and regulatory challenges. Myers’ appointment positions Smarter Web to follow the examples of Metaplanet in Japan and Strategy in the U.S., both pioneers in digital asset treasury models.
