An unidentified whale has acquired over $241 million in ETH and WBTC since mid-August, depositing the assets into Aave to borrow over 114 million USDT, signaling a sophisticated leveraging strategy.
Following reports of whales collectively purchasing 260,000 ETH, a single large holder has significantly increased their position. This whale recently acquired 5,553 ETH ($24.44 million), bringing their total accumulation since August 11 to 18,447 ETH and 1,357 WBTC, valued at a combined $241.5 million. The whale subsequently deposited the assets into the Aave protocol to borrow 114.2 million USDT.
