Bitmain Buys 80,325 ETH, Lifting Holdings to About 2 Million

BitMine Immersion has acquired 10,320 ETH for $44.6 million, increasing its total Ethereum holdings to 2.07 million ETH, valued at approximately $8.94 billion. This latest purchase adds to a month-long trend of significant ETH accumulation, positioning BitMine as one of the largest institutional ETH holders. The company aims to hold 5% of the total ETH supply. Other firms like SharpLink Gaming and The Ether Machine are also expanding their Ethereum reserves, contributing to an overall rise in institutional ETH holdings, which now total 4.91 million ETH worth $21.29 billion.
