According to Binance, its integration with Zapper allows South Africans to spend crypto at national retailers, expanding its global merchant network beyond 63,000 businesses.
Binance Pay has integrated with South African payment processor Zapper, enabling cryptocurrency payments at over 31,000 merchants, including KFC, Dis-Chem, and Total service stations. This partnership expands Binance’s global merchant network to more than 63,000, with the platform reporting over 300 million transactions processed to date. Binance and Zapper are incentivizing early adoption through a 50 percent cashback promotion to encourage consumer uptake of crypto payments.
