Shareholders withdrew a derivative lawsuit accusing Strategy of downplaying crypto accounting impacts, with U.S. District Judge Anthony J. Trenga approving dismissal while preserving rights to refile later.
Strategy Inc. shareholders voluntarily dismissed a derivative lawsuit alleging directors and executives allowed “Bitcoin Vault” to underestimate the effects of cryptocurrency accounting rule changes. U.S. District Judge Anthony J. Trenga of the Eastern District approved a joint dismissal agreement, which allows the case to be refiled in the future. This follows earlier dismissal of similar allegations against Strategy and its executive chairman in a separate case.
