Major U.S. technology companies have pledged more than $40 billion to expand AI infrastructure in the UK. Microsoft committed $30 billion by 2028, Google $6.8 billion over two years, and CoreWeave $2.04 billion in AI data centers. OpenAI, Nvidia, and UK-based Nscale will collaborate on a large AI facility called 'Stargate (UK)'. Salesforce will invest $2 billion in UK operations by 2030, and BlackRock plans to put £500 million into UK data centers.
