Lombard Finance launched the BARD token with simultaneous listings on Binance, OKX, Bybit, and Upbit, and Coinbase later confirmed spot trading support for BARD-USD once liquidity is sufficient.
Lombard Finance officially launched the BARD token on September 18, 2025, at 18:00, enabling token claims and staking. At 19:00, Binance, OKX, Bybit, and Upbit listed BARD for trading, while Coinbase separately announced it would introduce spot trading for the BARD-USD pair once liquidity conditions are met. The staking program initially offers up to 240% annual yield, decreasing to 30% within 30 days with a 60-day minimum lock-in. Backed by Chainlink, Symbiotic, and Mellow, the mechanism aims to secure cross-chain Bitcoin transfers. Binance also launched a 7.5 million BARD airdrop through its Alpha platform with trading pairs against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY, while allocating 1% of supply to BNB holders under its HODLer Airdrops initiative.
