Security Alliance releases 63 profiles of suspected Lazarus Group hackers, aiming to aid crypto firms in identifying and preventing North Korean cyber threats.
Security Alliance (SEAL) has launched a website featuring 63 profiles of suspected North Korean Lazarus Group hackers, including photos, aliases, social media accounts, and wallet addresses. These hackers are connected to large-scale crypto thefts, including the $1.5 billion Bybit hack in 2025. SEAL’s report highlights common infiltration tactics such as posing as job seekers, bribing insiders, and using malware. Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has urged crypto firms to improve employee training and screening to combat these threats. SEAL estimates 3-5% of Web3 developers may be North Korean operatives.
