Authorities reported the recovery of about 65 kilograms of stolen gold valued at HK$50 million, with arrests including the suspected mastermind and the complainant, both identified as business partners.
Hong Kong police confirmed on September 18 that 65 kilograms of gold worth approximately HK$50 million, stolen from a Hung Hom jewelry processing workshop on September 17, has been fully recovered. The robbery also involved the theft of about HK$30,000 in cash. Police have so far arrested 11 individuals, including the alleged mastermind and the complainant, who were business partners. Ten suspects remain wanted as investigations continue.
