Blockchain investigator ZachXBT reported that Steam removed Block Blasters from its platform after the game was found to contain malware that caused over $150,000 in cryptocurrency losses. The security team shut down the game’s command-and-control infrastructure and directly contacted the threat actor, who confessed to stealing the funds.
