Kazakhstan's National Bank has introduced KZTE, a stablecoin pegged to the tenge, as part of a pilot project within the country’s Digital Assets Regulatory Sandbox. Issued through Intebix and Eurasian Bank, the project aims to bridge cryptocurrency and traditional finance, with Mastercard enabling seamless transactions and payments through crypto cards.
