Perpetual contract decentralized exchanges recorded $1.05 trillion in trading volume for September 2025, up 48% from August’s $707.6 billion. BNB Chain-based Aster led the market with $420 billion, surpassing Hyperliquid, which fell to $282.5 billion, down 29% month-over-month. Ethereum Layer 2-based Lighter ranked third with $164.4 billion despite still being in beta.
