ZKsync has launched the Atlas upgrade, designed to enhance its layer-2 platform for enterprise and institutional applications. The upgrade features a sequencer capable of processing 25,000 to 30,000 transactions per second and integrates Airbender, a proof system for faster cross-chain settlements and sub-second confirmations, all fully compatible with Ethereum-based applications.
