Brazil-based OranjeBTC increases its Bitcoin reserves to 3,691 BTC after a $1.94 million purchase, aligning with its expansion on São Paulo’s B3 exchange as Latin America’s leading corporate Bitcoin holder.
OranjeBTC has acquired 16 additional Bitcoin for approximately $1.94 million, averaging $121,058 per coin, bringing its total holdings to 3,691 BTC valued at around $389.07 million. The company, which began trading on São Paulo’s B3 exchange following a reverse IPO merger with Intergraus, is now Latin America’s largest corporate Bitcoin holder. Backed by Itaú BBA, the Winklevoss twins, Ricardo Salinas, FalconX, and Adam Back, OranjeBTC follows a strategy similar to the U.S.-based firm Strategy—raising capital through convertible debt to accumulate Bitcoin. OranjeBTC also launched a Bitcoin education platform to promote financial literacy across Brazil and Latin America.
