Mo Shaikh, co-founder of Aptos Labs, has launched MF Ventures, a $50 million crypto venture capital fund. The fund, which has already invested $5 million in six startups, aims to focus on the incubation of crypto projects in Asia. The fund has garnered support from family offices in the US, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. This follows a sharp 55% decline in crypto VC investments in Q2, reaching $6.8 billion, with total fundraising at $50 billion for the first half of the year.
