
BlackRock continues to explore tokenization and blockchain-based ETFs to attract younger investors, with a focus on faster settlements and fractional ownership.
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink revealed the firm's push toward tokenizing traditional assets such as real estate, stocks, and bonds. BlackRock's total assets under management reached $13.5 trillion in Q3 2025, with over $5 trillion in ETFs. The iShares Bitcoin ETF holds around $100 billion in assets, making it BlackRock’s fastest-growing fund. Additionally, BlackRock is developing in-house tokenization technology to target long-term and younger investors.
