Aave announced a partnership with Maple to incorporate yield-bearing institutional-grade assets as new collateral within its lending protocol. The rollout begins with syrupUSDT on Plasma before expanding to Aave’s core markets. Currently, Aave maintains about 1,000 daily borrowers and manages $25 billion in outstanding loans, representing 82% of network debt. This collaboration further connects decentralized finance with institutional lending through tokenized yield assets.
