Solana Mobile has confirmed the discontinuation of Saga smartphone updates, shifting its resources toward developing the Seeker, which will integrate Solana ecosystem tokens to drive platform engagement.
Solana Mobile announced it will cease all support and software updates for the first-generation Saga smartphone, providing only general consulting for users. The support period lasted roughly two years—significantly shorter than typical Apple or Google device cycles. The company’s development efforts will now center on the Seeker, its next-generation smartphone that will incorporate Solana ecosystem tokens to strengthen participation within the Web3 mobile ecosystem.
