
According to VideoTutor’s official announcement, YZi Labs made its first AI investment in the startup, boosting its personalized K12 SAT prep video platform with major venture backing.
VideoTutor announced it raised $11 million in a seed funding round, marking YZi Labs’ first investment in an AI company. The round, which also attracted major ventures, supports the startup founded by 20-year-old Kai Zhao in developing an AI Agent for personalized K12 SAT preparation videos. VideoTutor achieved product–market fit within five months of launch, signaling rapid growth and investor confidence.
