Singapore authorities confiscated assets worth over 1.5 billion SGD from Chen Zhi amid coordinated global action following earlier multi-billion Bitcoin seizures by US and UK agencies.
Singapore police have seized more than S$1.5 billion in assets tied to Chen Zhi, leader of Cambodia’s Prince Group, targeting properties, bank holdings, and other financial resources. The enforcement action follows charges by US and UK authorities, and the earlier confiscation of around US$15 billion in Bitcoin in October. Assets taken in Singapore include six properties and extensive financial holdings, marking a significant escalation in the multinational crackdown on Chen and his associates.
