The collaboration brings FTSE Russell’s benchmark indices to blockchain for the first time, integrating regulated market data with on-chain finance across over 50 networks.
According to an official announcement, Chainlink has partnered with FTSE Russell to make major benchmark indices available on blockchain for the first time via the DataLink service. The integration links regulated market data with on-chain finance, enabling more than 50 public and private blockchain networks to access key benchmarks, including the Russell 1000, Russell 2000, Russell 3000, and FTSE 100. The move aims to deliver secure, institutional-grade data for smart contracts, tokenized assets, decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, and other advanced financial products, harnessing Chainlink’s decentralized oracle technology.
