On Nov. 13, the U.S. Treasury and Department of Justice announced the Scam Center Strike Force, targeting crypto-based ‘pig-butchering’ scams in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines. The initiative builds on prior enforcement, including the recent seizure of 127,271 BTC linked to Cambodia’s Prince Group, and aims to dismantle organized crime networks exploiting victims through fraudulent investment schemes.
