Aerodrome on Base reported a $700,000 loss from a domain hijacking attack that occurred on Nov. 21 and was resolved in under four hours. MetaMask and Coinbase Wallet alerted users within two minutes of detecting the first malicious transaction. Plans for compensating affected users are in place, with Aero and Velo foundations coordinating the effort.
