Bloomberg’s Eric Balchunas reports Vanguard will enable trading of SEC-compliant crypto ETFs and mutual funds from tomorrow, reflecting growing acceptance amid proven performance in volatile markets.
Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated that Vanguard will allow trading of cryptocurrency ETFs and mutual funds starting tomorrow. The asset manager will support most SEC-compliant offerings tracking Bitcoin and other crypto assets, excluding unapproved or memecoin-linked products. Balchunas noted these ETFs have functioned as intended during volatile periods, reinforcing investor confidence. This change grants Vanguard’s 50 million brokerage clients regulated access to popular funds such as BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETFs.
