Securitize appoints Jerome Roche as general counsel, leveraging his compliance and innovation expertise amid preparations for a $1.25 billion Nasdaq debut via Cantor Fitzgerald’s SPAC.
Securitize has hired Jerome Roche, former head of digital asset legal at PayPal, as its general counsel. Roche’s experience in compliance and innovation will support Securitize’s legal strategy as it advances toward a Nasdaq listing under the ticker SECZ through a Cantor Fitzgerald-sponsored SPAC. The listing aims for a $1.25 billion valuation. Securitize also plans to tokenize its equity and is the issuer of BlackRock’s BUIDL tokenized fund.
