The U.S. CFTC (U.S. derivatives regulator) has formed its first CEO Innovation Council to examine derivatives market structure, with a focus on tokenization, cryptocurrency, and blockchain. The council's members include executives from Polymarket, Cboe, CME, Bullish, Nasdaq, Crypto.com, London Stock Exchange Group, Kraken, ICE, and Gemini. Chair Caroline Pham stated that the group will explore perpetuals, prediction markets, and blockchain infrastructure.
